SUGARLESS SIMPLE SYRUP || KETO FRIENDLY
Ingredients
Basic Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup allulose
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ tsp acacia fiber
Amaretto Flavor
- 1 tbsp almond extract
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 pinches salt
Sugar Cookie Flavor
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp butter
- 1 drop almond extract optional
- 2 pinches salt
Instructions
SIMPLE SYRUP
- In a saucepan, combine the water, allulose, 1 pinch of salt, and acacia fiber. Whisk well.
- Turn heat to medium low and allow syrup ingredients to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Take off heat and allow to cool.
- You can store the syrup at this stage in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or continue to the following steps to make flavored syrups.
Amaretto Syrup
- Once simple syrup has cooled for a few minutes, add almond and vanilla extracts as well as the additional pinches of salt.
- Whisk together well. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Sugar Cookie Syrup
- Once simple syrup has cooled for a few minutes, add vanilla and butter extracts as well as the additional pinches of salt.
- Whisk together well. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
