Here's an easy simple syrup that's keto friendly!
SIMPLE SYRUP
In a saucepan, combine the water, allulose, 1 pinch of salt, and acacia fiber. Whisk well.
Turn heat to medium low and allow syrup ingredients to simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
Take off heat and allow to cool.
You can store the syrup at this stage in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or continue to the following steps to make flavored syrups.
Amaretto Syrup
Once simple syrup has cooled for a few minutes, add almond and vanilla extracts as well as the additional pinches of salt.
Whisk together well. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Sugar Cookie Syrup
Once simple syrup has cooled for a few minutes, add vanilla and butter extracts as well as the additional pinches of salt.
